Bookings for the caravan site Bookings for caravan spaces are only confirmed on receipt of an e.mail from The Crown. Please note that the toilets are only available during pub opening hours.
Children Children are welcome.
Pets Clean dogs are welcome on a lead on the floor.
Complaints We strive for 100% customer satisfaction at all times so if you feel there is an area that we can improve, or if you are unsatisfied with your visit, please write to Customer Care, The Crown c/o Homfray Hotels, The Feathers, Market Place, Helmsley, YO62 5BH.
Payment We accept payment by cheque (with a valid cheque guarantee card), debit card and credit cards (Visa & Mastercard) If you have a gift voucher please inform us as the time of booking.
Behaviour If a guest or member of your party behaves in a way that is likely to cause offence to a third party or to the establishment or guests property we are entitled, without prior notice, to ask the guest to leave. We will not refund any costs or pay any expenses as the result of such a curtailment.
Circumstances beyond our control We cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, averse weather, fire, riot, war, terrorist activity, natural disaster, industrial dispute.
Your personal details Your personal details will not be sold on or passed on to third parties. Credit/ debit card details are not kept in any form and are securely deleted after payment has been taken.
Hotel Proprietors Act 1956
Loss or damage to guests property Under the Hotel Proprietors Act 1956, a proprietor may in certain circustances be liable to make good any loss or damage to a guests propeerty even though it was not due to any fault of the proprietor or staff.
This liability however:
a) extends only to property of guests who have engaged sleeping accommodation.
b) Is limited to £50 for any one article and a total of £100 in the case of any one guest.
c) Does not cover motor cars or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.
This notice does not constitute an admission either that the Act applies to this hotel or that liability there under attaches to the proprietor of this particular hotel in any particular case.
